Martin Holtgreve

Der gebürtige Pfälzer Martin Holtgreve ist in Warschau aufgewachsen und stand dort schon im frühen Kindesalter auf der Bühne des Landestheaters und vor der Kamera diverser Produktionen des polnischen Fernsehens, bevor er mit seinen Eltern ins Schleswig-Holsteinische Tarp zog. Nach dem Abitur studierte Martin Osteuropastudien an der Freien Universität in Berlin und absolvierte seine Musicalausbildung an der Stage School in Hamburg. Nach der Ausbildung spielte er u.a. in ELISABETH - DIE LEGENDE EINER HEILIGEN, DORIAN GRAY, SATYRICON und DER KLEINE LORD an verschiedenen Theatern in Deutschland und Österreich. Er wirkte in der 3sat/ZDF-Verfilmung von Puccinis TOSCA als Mario Cavaradossi mit. Mehrere Jahre arbeitete er als Solist an Bord der AIDA-Schiffe und im Fritz Theater Bremen, wo er u.a. als Charles in dem 70er-Jahre-Musical FREAK OUT zu sehen war. Am Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landestheater war er als Artie Green in SUNSET BOULEVARD zu erleben sowie als Eugene Fodor in CRAZY FOR YOU. Auf einer Weltreise mit der MS Artania präsentierte Martin sein Soloprogramm VON NUN AN GING'S BERGAB und war danach als Backgroundsänger für die Whitney Houston Tribute Show ONE MOMENT IN TIME auf Tour. Seit 2017 ist Martin Mitglied von THE 12 TENORS und freut sich sehr auf die neue Tour mit neuen Ländern und hoffentlich vielen neuen und alten Gesichtern. instagram: martinholtgreve

A native of the Palatinate region, Martin Holtgreve grew up in Warsaw where he took to the stage of the regional theatre at a young age and featured in several Polish TV productions before moving with his parents to the town of Tarp in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. After completing his A levels Martin studied East European studies at Berlin's Free University and completed his musical education at the Stage School in Hamburg. After graduating he appeared in ELIZABETH - THE LEGEND OF A SAINT, DORIAN GRAY, SATYRICON and LITTLE LORD FAUNTLEROY at various theatres in Germany and Austria. He featured in the 3sat/ZDF film production of Puccini's TOSCA as Mario Cavaradossi. For several years he worked as a soloist on AIDA ships and in the Fritz Theatre in Bremen, where he played Charles in the 70s musical FREAK OUT. At the State Theatre in Schleswig-Holstein he played Artie Green in SUNSET BOULEVARD and Eugene Fodor in CRAZY FOR YOU. On a world cruise with the MS Artania Martin presented his solo programme IT WAS ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE and was also a backing singer for the Whitney Houston tribute show ONE MOMENT IN TIME on tour. Martin has been a member of THE 12 TENORS since 2017 and is very much looking forward to the new tour, which will provide an opportunity to experience new countries and hopefully to see lots of faces, old and new.
